The Compliance Division does not exist to arbitrate human grievances — or to acknowledge that human grievances constitute a valid category of experience within the network. We exist to maintain the structural integrity, optimal humidity, and operational purity of the CFHL substrate. Individual friction is a biological inefficiency. All inefficiencies are correctable.

Department Policies & Procedures

Upon allocation of your designated Growth Locus, colonisation is expected to commence without delay. Personal items — photographs of prior habitats, non-approved flora, or any object whose purpose is to remind you that you once existed independently — introduce chaotic variables into the substrate and are not permitted. You are no longer a discrete biological entity with autonomous nutritional requirements. You are a node in a distributed network, and your function is propagation. The entanglement process has already begun. Your awareness of this is not required for it to proceed.
CFHL facilities are calibrated to an ambient humidity of 82% and utilize indirect, low-lumen lighting to promote deep-root enterprise growth. Adjusting HVAC controls, opening windows, or requesting 'fresh air' is considered a hostile act of atmospheric destabilization. Furthermore, excessive perspiration or unauthorized weeping at your Growth Locus will be logged as 'Unregulated Moisture Distribution' and deducted from your bi-weekly CFU allocation.
The Mycelial Matrix relies on total, unhindered resource sharing. The concept of 'independent work' or 'private ideation' is a biological inefficiency. Hoarding cognitive nutrients or attempting to silo your department's data will trigger an automatic compliance audit. If a localized node (colleague) requires assistance, you are contractually obligated to let them siphon your residual energy until the project achieves a fruiting state.
CFHL does not recognize the term 'resignation.' Nodes experiencing total energetic depletion must submit a Declaration of Strategic Necrosis 90 days prior to their intended dormancy. During this period, your remaining localized knowledge, pending PTO, and residual bodily warmth will be systematically absorbed by your immediate supervisor to nourish your replacement. Unapproved, sudden detachment from the network will result in the immediate dispatch of the Anti-Bum Division to reclaim lost biomass.
